My research as of 4th January 2005 :- Edwin William Alabone M.D., D.Sc., F.R.M.S., &c Medical Doctor Doctor of Science Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society or The Royal Microscopical Society Born 1843, Isle of Wight,died 21 st November 1913 London, aged 65 (no it doesn't add up, I suspect it was 1848 not 43, most likely a misprint) Married Sophia G Alabone dob 1849 five children Poss married again to Hannah Louisa who died 2nd April 1912 aged ~52 dob~1860 (12 years his junior) (or could be his sister in law) (both buried same place, would appear close together) (He died 19 months later, often the case) Had an organ at Highbury Quadrant, who played it ? Played billiards, quite well it would seem Was an accomplished mathematician Came up with a cure for Consumption (TB) ____________________________
