Late summer 2007, a few things to report. I have since originally getting this machine picked up two more in very poor condition, the first one for the lever action tailstock, the second one for many of the parts that it came with, but the lathe itself had little to offer, so I am keeping what I need and in due course will sell the spares for someone else to use. I also found a nice countershaft of the type that would have been used with a lathe such as this.

The collets above were in reasonable shape, except for some troubles with the shanks from clumsy use in the past. But the male step collets were at first sight probably fit for the scrap bin, however on something as rare as this, the challenge needed to be met. Click here to see how I saved them.
